The festive season has begun!

It was a fantastically festive day at Hamble Heights on Sunday with our indoor Christmas Market!

The lead up to Christmas has begun at Hamble Heights.  There were carols, music, mince pies and merriment! Lots of families and friends of relatives came along to support and buy seasonal presents.  There were stalls selling crafts and homemade gifts, such as jewellery, cushions, aprons and Santa stockings.  Other stalls sold flower arrangements, candles, jams, chutneys and cakes.

Our residents had a wonderful day getting into the Christmas spirit! We made over £200 from the proceeds, which all goes into The Residents’ Fund.  Thank you to everyone who came along and had a brilliant day with us!

Just as we did last year, we’re opening our doors on Christmas Day to eat, drink and be merry with the senior residents of Fareham!  We will be collecting residents in the area for carols, festive games, and Christmas dinner with all the trimmings!  After mince pies and merriment, we will be safely returning residents to their homes…

Please watch this space for more details about Christmas Day at Hamble Heights and how by opening our doors to the local community, we hope to bring smiles to not only our own residents but those in Fareham too.  No one should be alone at Christmas and we want to ensure that anyone who would like to join us has a place to go and the offer of companionship.
