Feel at home…
Be part of our family
Oakdale Care Home has its own community on each floor, making living here friendly and welcoming. There are several cosy snugs on each floor which are smaller, more intimate spaces in which residents can relax, as well as several lounges, dining and café areas on each floor for residents to enjoy too.
Home from home
Feel comfortable knowing that you, or your loved one has their own comfortable private bedroom and en-suite wet room. We offer various styles of rooms to suit your taste and budget and encourage you to bring in some of your own furniture and possessions to help you settle in from day one.
Relax in our communal areas
There are many communal spaces for residents, families and team members to come together at Oakdale care home. The hub of our home is the bistro and we encourage family and friends of our residents to call in to enjoy a cuppa with their loved one.
Plenty of indoor and outdoor space
We have ensured that each community within the home has access to outdoor space and the garden provides safe walking pathways with colour contrasting edging, raised beds, and activity areas including a potting shed. Or perhaps book in some pampering time in our on-site Pamper room with our visiting hairdresser.
The care we provide
If you are finding aspects of day-to-day life at home difficult, we offer residential care which allows you to be independent for longer within the comfort of a home environment. We tailor our care plans to suit you, or your loved one; offering as much or as little care as needed.
We provide qualified nurses on-hand 24 hours a day to plan and deliver the very best nursing care and specialist support to you, or your loved one. Our nurses are fully supported by a team of care assistants to ensure personal care is delivered accordingly to every person’s individual care plan and needs.
Our care home was purpose built to be dementia friendly from the layout of the building, to sensitive décor and interior design to provide a familiar and safe environment. We get to know each resident, to create a care plan as individual as they are.
We are here to support you, or your loved one. We listen to your wishes and preferences and take these into account when creating a care, or end of life plan. We can help manage pain and other afflicting symptoms to ensure you, or your loved one are always cared for with respect and dignity.
We offer short-term care for when you need it most. Whether it be for a short break or to aid recovery following an operation, or from being unwell we can provide personalised care for a few weeks while you recover.
You are in safe hands
