Residential Care
If you are finding aspects of day-to-day life at home difficult, our Bournemouth residential care home allows you to be independent for longer within a comforting, welcoming environment. We take pride in tailoring our care plans to suit you or your loved ones needs; offering as much or as little care as needed.
Nursing Care
We offer specialist nursing care from qualified nurses, who are on-hand 24 hours a day to support to you, or your loved one. Our nurses are fully supported by a team of care assistants to ensure personal care is delivered accordingly to every person’s individual care plan and needs.
Dementia Care
Our purpose-built Alzheimer’s care home in Bournemouth offers dementia friendly rooms and facilities, including the layout of the building, sensitive décor and interior design to provide a familiar and safe environment. Our nurses take time to get to know each resident, helping to design a care plan to suit their individual needs and preferences.
Palliative Care
If you or your loved one require palliative care in Bournemouth, we are here to support you at every step of the way. When creating a care or end of life plan, we take all of your wishes and preferences into account. We always ensure you or your loved one are cared for with respect and dignity, whilst managing pain and other afflicting symptoms.
Respite Care
We offer care home respite in Bournemouth for when you need it most. We offer personalised care to those who need short-term relief, such as recovering from an operation or illness or providing your usual carer with a break.
Meet the Home Manager
Rachel Smith-Harrison
Rachel Smith-Harrison began her nurse training in 1994 in Yorkshire and has been a registered general nurse for 25 years.
Rachel moved to Dorset in 1999 to be closer to her father. Rachel’s extensive clinical experience includes working within cardiology and medical assessment units within hospitals. She progressed from staff nurse to deputy sister, to clinical practitioner on the hospital management team.
Rachel left the NHS in 2016 and has since worked within care home management. She is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the care home and is passionate about providing excellent standards of care and supporting residents to live life well.
