We pride ourselves on the amazing people who work at each of our care homes. We believe the most important resource Encore has is its people. We strive to provide the very best care and support we can for each of our residents.

We know that without the team we have in place there would not be the friendly, caring feeling you get when walk through our door. It is our team who put the ‘care’ in what we do and the feeling of ‘home’ in each of our care homes.

We encourage our teams to come together, be accountable and feel empowered. We are not too big that you are a number and we are not too small that you are not encouraged to grow and develop.

What do we look for when recruiting

We look for people who have experience working in a care environment as well as welcome applications from people who are new to care. We find that people often develop valuable skills elsewhere which can be transferred to working in care.

Encore Buddy System

You will be assigned a Buddy when you first join, who acts as a mentor and shadowing partner on your shift. Buddies are there to support new members of the team; making you feel welcome and be on-hand to answer any questions you might have.
