Nursing Care

No two people are the same. We appreciate that our residents’ care requirements are as varied as the individuals are themselves.

We always ‘go the extra mile’ to make sure you, or your loved one feel safe and cared for. From dispensing medications, changing dressings and monitoring vital signs; to personal hygiene and managing chronic illness.

Our nurses recognise that a need for support is not always just physical. Compassion, respect and dignity are at the heart of our culture of care – both towards our residents and their families and friends.

Finding the right home is a very personal decision. Stay with us for 4 weeks but only pay for 3, and experience the home for yourself.

“My mum has settled into her new home and loves her bright and airy en-suite room with patio access… we can see how happy, safe and well she is in her new home.”

The highest standard of care

Our homes offer the additional reassurance of qualified nurses on-hand 24-hours a day. They are there to plan and deliver the very best nursing care and specialist support to residents. Our nursing teams receive constant training and development from our dedicated Learning and Development Manager.

Supported by a caring team

Encore nurses are fully supported by a team of care assistants, who work closely alongside the nurses to ensure personal care is delivered according to every person’s individual care plan.

Our care and support team are not only employed for their skills and experience but for their compassionate natures too.

Planning for the future

It is important to consider not only current care needs but also how much help is likely to be required in the future.

All Encore care homes provide various types of care – meaning that you, or your loved one do not have to move to another home should your health deteriorate.

When should you consider nursing care?

Nursing care should be considered if there are ongoing health issues, such as a progressive illness that means frequent or complex nursing support is required, such as:
  • Dementia
  • Alzheimer’s
  • A stroke
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Convalescence / post-operative care
