We had a fantastic afternoon at Hamble Heights celebrating the opening of our brand new bar on Balcony View…
We invited the local Councillors, Susan and Brian Bayford to come along to help us officially open the new bar. They joined us for a celebratory glass of champagne and helped resident John from Nightingale (2nd Floor) to cut the ribbon to declare it was time to pour the first drink!
Let the celebrations begin!
After the official opening, what more apt way of celebrating than by making sure the drinks were flowing! We enjoyed lots of delicious nibbles that our chef Andy had prepared. The Councillors last visited Hamble Heights 5 years ago and said that it was great to be back again. Susan expressed that she’d heard so many good things about Hamble Heights. We are hoping that they will both be able to join us again for our 5th year anniversary in January.
The afternoon at our brand new bar was enjoyed by many residents, who all spent lots of time chatting to Susan and Brian. Our very first customer at the bar was Eric from 2nd Floor, who enjoyed a lovely pint of bitter.
