Special Guests for Christmas at Hamble Heights

At Hamble Heights, we are opening our doors for Christmas Lunch on 25th December to the elderly residents of the local area, who would otherwise be spending Christmas alone.

We are inviting fifteen people for Christmas dinner so they don’t have to spend the day on their own. Our special guests will be treated to a three-course meal with all the trimmings, carol singing around the piano, festive films, and not forgetting the Queen’s speech!  Additionally, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without enjoying a constant supply of mulled wine and mince pies!

Home Manager, Michelle, is very much looking forward to Hamble Heights opening its doors to the community, she says, “This time of year can be very hard for older people, especially if they have lost a loved one in recent years.  We thought it would be a lovely idea to welcome local people who would otherwise have to spend the day on their own.  It should be a great day filled with delicious food, fun games and lots and lots of laughter.”

We are inviting valued members of the community in the Park Gate and Locks Heath areas to to join us in our warm and welcoming home to enjoy a delicious Christmas Lunch in the company of others in a similar situation – and who knows – perhaps even make a new companion.
