Residential Open Day at Great Oaks

Great Oaks care home would like to invite you to our resident open day on Wednesday, October 18 from 10am to 2pm.

We look forward to welcoming members of the public and local community to the home to found out more about the residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care options we provide. Short-term respite stays and day breaks are also offered at Great Oaks where required.

Ian MacDonald, Home Manager, will be on-hand throughout the open day to answer any questions you may have about the home and the professional care. There is also the opportunity to meet our expert care home team and take a tour around the state-of-the-art facilities at Great Oaks.

Our care home is discreetly located within a private woodland setting, enabling residents to have 180-degree views of the nearby surroundings. Its idyllic location creates a restful atmosphere, enhanced by the landscaped garden; which includes raised flower beds and a vegetable patch for residents to show off their green-fingered skills!

Our dedicated activities team takes every opportunity to get to know the new residents with engaging, creative and personalised activities. Entertainers are also regularly invited into the home for dance and music sessions. We believe this as an important part of our residents’ wellbeing.

Come along on the Residential Open Day on Wednesday 18th October. Take a tour of the fantastic facilities and meet the care team led by Home Manager, Ian MacDonald.

For more information please call 01202 087444 to speak to a member of the team, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
