We certainly weren’t going to let the unpredictable British weather spoil our Garden Party last weekend – bringing the fun and frolics of the fair into the home!
Despite the rain, both staff and residents were in high spirits for our Summer Garden Party (which took place on Lower Ground Floor!). There was balloon modelling from Strawberry Dan, who created a number of impressive masterpieces and was a huge hit with the residents. He also visited those residents who were in their rooms to dazzle them with his balloon art.
Candy floss was provided by Floszpop, which brought back childhood memories of the fluffy pink treat for some residents! Everyone also enjoyed hot dogs for the afternoon and a raffle!
It was a splendid afternoon of treats and enjoyment. The weather might have been dull outside but it was certainly bright and lively at Hamble Heights!
