The Activity Calendar this week at Hamble Heights has an emphasis on the arts and crafts….with a visit from a very special guest!
To complement the arts and crafts days this week, there will be a Sit and Fit session for all those budding exercise enthusiasts. There will also be a clothes sale on Thursday and a visit to the local pub on Friday! We’ll be crossing our fingers that the weather stays glorious so that our residents can enjoy some time in a sunny pub garden.
Our very special guest this week however, is Mr Kipling, the Miniature Donkey from Pony Pals! At around 32 inches tall, this “Little Donkey” is the perfect pint-size pet to visit residents and have a walk around the home. He doesn’t just make house calls though, he also makes individual room visits to our residents if they need. We’ll certainly be posting some pictures from his visit shortly….!
