Tug of war for Burns Night

Yoshi the chameleon meets our residents
Yoshi the chameleon brought a whole host of smiles to the faces of our residents during her visit to Great Oaks. As she’s small, calm and happy to be picked up, she was the perfect creature for our residents to see up-close.

Happy Birthday, Hamble Heights
We hosted a party to celebrate our Fareham-based care home reaching double-digits. We were joined by the Mayor of Fareham, Cllr Mike Ford, for the special event, which featured live music and lots of singing and dancing from our residents.

Competitive board games
Classic games such as snakes and ladders, and dominoes trigger happy memories for our Great Oaks residents. Our Wellbeing team also play music during the games for our residents to sing and dance along.

Bubbly fun with Squidge and Pop
Squidge and Pop are a hit with our Oakdale residents, who find the bubbles a rather entertaining experience. They couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw one of our care staff encased in a bubble, which brings back memories of blowing bubbles as children.

We have designed our homes to provide bright, airy, and spacious shared spaces, which are perfect to spend time with friends, as well as cosy snug corners to relax in for more quiet time.
Every bedroom has an en suite wet-room to ensure privacy and dignity at all times. The landscaped gardens, courtyards and large verandas also offer the ideal areas to enjoy fresh air, birdsong and the changing seasons.

The care you’ll receive is as individual as you or your loved one; every resident has a bespoke care plan which is reviewed regularly. Our focus is on you or your loved one’s care and wellbeing.
Accommodation
Our homes have been designed to put your needs and comfort first. You’ll have your own spacious private bedroom with en-suite wet room.
We offer various styles of rooms to suit your taste, and each floor is its own community so you, or your loved one will feel part of a smaller family unit, and can make friends with other residents and your care team easily.
Cuisine
You’ll enjoy fresh home-cooked meals as we know healthy and appetising food is such an important part of every day. All your meals are prepared in-house by the home’s Chefs and kitchen team.
You’re welcome to invite your friends and family to catch up over a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake in our café areas or enjoy Sunday lunch with the family in one of the home’s cosy private dining rooms.
Activities
You’ll be able to enjoy the range of activities and events that each home’s dedicated Wellbeing team organises to make sure each day has something new to offer. We’ll help you continue with hobbies you love, or to try new ones.
