Residents celebrate Mother’s Day at Great Oaks

Our in-house catering team kindly made us a variety of flavoured muffins, with intricate icing daisy designs on top, for our residents and guests to enjoy. Strawberries dipped in chocolate were also served with a glass of champagne to toast the special day to make everyone feel special. We then reminisced about days gone by over a cup of tea and biscuits.

We always try to take up the opportunity to celebrate special events with our residents and their loved ones. With Easter just round the corner and the days getting longer and warmer, we look forward to guests visiting over the long weekend. Hopefully the weather will allow us to get out in the garden to play some outdoor games and enjoy the sunshine.

Our activities coordinator, Sue Goktas, works hard to ensure our residents have a varied activities plan throughout the week, which is catered to all of their interests and hobbies. Great Oaks always has a ‘more the merrier’ approach to these activities, with friends and families often joining in with the fun while they are visiting our residents.

Our doors are always open and visitors are welcome to pop in any time for a cup of tea and to enjoy the peacefulness of our landscaped gardens.
