We have so many heroes at Encore Care Homes. Our Carers and Nurses are our ongoing heroes, but we would like to also recognise others who are our unsung heroes within our homes. Everyone is doing a fantastic job during these challenging times – thank you.
Vanessa, our Wellbeing Manager at Hamble Heights has been nominated by multiple family members during lockdown for providng support above and beyond on many occasions to our residents.
Jenny, always has a smile on her face and time to give. Nominated by a relative, who has requested that Jenny is recognised for her great reassurance and being such a friendly voice at the end of the phone in these strange times. She always goes the extra mile.
Tina, has been nominated by a Karan, a relative of Hamble Heights for special recognition for keeping her up to date with her relative during these challenging times. Tina is a shining star at doing what she can to help reassure relatives as much as she can.
Lisa, has been nominated by one of her colleagues but her team echo her nomination! From the very start of the COVID-19 outbreak, Lisa has remained calm and upbeat! With a consistent positive approach to the situation has meant her team have stayed positive too.
Kevin, who is heading up our PPE for the group in terms of sourcing, ordering and delivery. A total legend and unsung hero!
Carol was awarded an Encore Value Certificate for being exceptional. She has been amazing leading the domestic team at Hamble Heights Care Home; she really has been a cleaning Goddess during these challenging times!
Niki, Home Manager at Hamble Heights Care Home was presented with a certificate for ‘Best Manager’ along with some flowers by her team to show their thanks for being ‘fabulous’ during these difficult times.
