Great Oaks Care Home in Bournemouth has 3 floors, with each floor offering several cosy lounges, dining and café areas for residents to enjoy. Each floor is its own community so you or your loved one will feel part of a smaller family unit and can make friends with other residents easily.

Feel comfortable knowing that you, or your loved one has their own spacious private bedroom and en-suite wet room. At our private care home, we offer various styles of rooms to suit your taste and budget. We also encourage you to bring in some of your own possessions to help you settle in from day one.

Our dining rooms at Great Oaks in Bournemouth are bright and airy and are a lovely space to socialise with other residents during mealtimes. Each floor also has several cosy lounge areas where you can catch up with your friends or family, or simply sit and enjoy some quiet time, read a good book or catch up on your latest TV shows. Take advantage of our on-site Pamper room and book to have your hair done by our visiting hairdresser. If you prefer spending your time outdoors, feel free to enjoy our beautiful landscaped courtyard and gardens with raised flower beds. We encourage our residents to join in with some potting and planting in the warmer months.

Our Wellbeing team encourage our care home residents to be social and actively involved in continuing with hobbies they love or introducing them to new ones.  With entertainers, fitness sessions, local school children popping in or visiting alpacas, there is always something going on.

Good, nutritional home-made food for our residents is an extremely important aspect of the care we provide at our private care home. Our in-house chefs take into consideration residents’ specific requirements to ensure that not only are we producing balanced meals that appeal to the taste buds, but also have a positive impact on their health too.
